Three-Month Retail Coating Programme for Poundland

MICS delivered a multi-week coating programme for a Poundland retail location, covering shopfront repaint, signage refresh, and interior decorating across the public retail space and back-of-house. The project was programmed around the store's trading hours over approximately three months in mid-to-late 2018, with much of the work completed in early-morning or overnight closure windows to maintain trading continuity.

Work was phased across the store's exterior signage and shopfront, retail interior, and back-of-house spaces — each phase scoped, programmed, and signed off before the next began. Brand colour consistency was verified against Poundland's specification throughout. Equipment included cherry picker access for elevated signage and Graco airless and HVLP application for the various substrates encountered.

The completed Poundland location returned to full trading with a refreshed exterior, refreshed interior, and brand-aligned signage — delivered on a multi-week programme without significant trading disruption.
